IT'S TIME FOR CINDERELLA
TO GO TO THE BALL

Dear Friends,

If life has pressed you down, then you need to rejoice! If life has passed you by, then you need to rejoice! If you feel forgotten and unloved, then you need to rejoice! You are just the one God is looking for to change the world!

Where is God Hiding His Army in Reserve?
When God is looking for a person to lead His people, He does not look in "palaces" to find them, but He goes to the "kitchen." He finds these leaders hidden out of sight in some lowly servant position. They look insignificant to most people, and indeed that is what God wants them to look like. He has hidden them and most people will not see their true value until God "takes them to the ball" and shows them off---until it is time to release them.

I see the story of Cinderella as a prophetic picture of what God is doing with His church today. Cinderella looked insignificant, as though her usefulness in life was as a servant, and she humbly fulfilled her role as a servant to her two stepsisters and stepmother. She dreamed of a life of great purpose and wonder, while living in a reality that was quite different from her dreams. The hopelessness and brutality of her situation only worked to drive her deeper into the realm of faith in her dreams that there was something better for her.

In spite of the efforts of her step-family to keep her locked away out of sight of anyone who would elevate her, she was ultimately brought to the attention of the prince at the ball. He, of course, after seeing her, fell madly in love with her and there could be no one else for him besides her.

God has hidden an army of humble and contrite people in various servant positions. The time is now approaching for these new leaders to be revealed. They have been faithful in little, now God will seemingly over night promote them to positions of authority. The time is coming, and is here, that our Father will reward His children for everything done in secret. He will promote those who have been faithful in their service to Him.

Divine Reversals
There will be a series of divine reversals in the Body of Christ that God will use to redress His church!

Cinderella dressed herself for the ball as best she could, with the best she had. However, as you know, she was unable to wear the dress she made herself because her stepsister tore it to pieces. So, her god-mother redressed her in a gown of great splendor. Yet, in order for her to be redressed, she had to endure the ripping and tearing of the dress that she had made for herself. Only then would she be able to receive all that her god-mother had to give to her.

We, as the church, have worked hard to dress ourselves. We have done our best to develop our churches and ministries with the gifts and talents that we have. Unfortunately, it is because we have done so much of it ourselves that we have gotten prideful over what we have accomplished.

God will not allow His church to be dressed in self-sufficiency; He desires much more for us. He wants to dress us in His splendor and glory. He wants to dress His bride, so He will receive praise for her beauty. He has so much that He wants to give to us, but first we must endure the shaking.

The Body of Christ has been undergoing the shaking of God, and He will strip us of anything that is not of Him. Many ministries that once were thriving are no longer even operating. Those that are still functioning have and will continue to undergo upheaval. Take heart! This must take place to enable us to receive all that God has for us. He wants to bestow more of Himself on this generation than He has ever done before.

The more He shakes us, the more our carnality is stripped away and our Lord's glory will shine through us with greater radiance. We will know Him intimately and operate in great power and authority; we will see visible signs of His glory, majesty and splendor.

An Unshakeable Kingdom
"And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, 'YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN.'"

"This expression, 'Yet once more,' denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things [things of the flesh], so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain."

"Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:26-29).

We can gratefully receive the shaking of God, because His shaking produces more of Him in our lives. Our flesh delights in the things of the flesh, but our spirit the things of the Spirit. God's shaking shakes what is of the flesh "which can be shaken" in our lives, which gives way for a greater measure of the work of the Spirit "which cannot be shaken." So we can thank our heavenly Father for the removal of the things in our lives that can be removed.

Any pain we may feel during His shaking is the pain of our flesh tearing. However, we must walk after the things of the Spirit of God not of the flesh. Our spirit delights in the removal of the flesh, because its removal prepares the way for the Lord.

We can rejoice because we know that God's ultimate goal is to make us unshakeable! He is building in us an unshakeable kingdom, a kingdom not made by human hands, but by His intervention in our lives. We stand in awe of our God, for He is a consuming fire. And all that is not of Him in us is burned away, and what is left is a greater capacity to display Christ!

Dressing His Church in His Glory!
The Lord is indeed redressing His church! He is raising up an army of co-laborers; laborers who will work with Christ not just for Him; workers who will listen for His voice and obey Him. They are servants who will not just serve Him, but who will become ONE with Him in thought, word and deed.

These people may feel lowly and insignificant now, still God will use them in great ways. He will display Himself through them to such a degree that they themselves will be astounded by the power of God that flows through them. For it pleases our Father to hide Himself from those who are wise in their own eyes, while revealing His heart to those who are babes in His sight (Matthew 11:25-26).

Right now they may feel out of place, inadequate and sometimes useless, yet they have secret dreams and great faith. They are invisible to most, but serve God with great faithfulness. They are pleased to serve Him in any capacity.

Their only qualification for leadership will be the fragrance that follows them from being in God's presence. Their love for Him motivates their faith in Him, and their faith in Him will move mountains. Their passion for their Lord is their only motivation for ministry; they have no desire to lead for selfish gain. They are driven by their love for the Lord and what He loves.

They rejoice in the happiness of the Bridegroom. When God is blessed, they are happy. When He is wounded, they feel it personally. They mourn over the sinful condition of man, yet their capacity to love knows no bounds, because they love with His heart not their own.

Who are these great leaders? They are Handimart attendants, motorcycle riders, housewives, pastors, movie actors or even your local Wal-Mart cashier. Anyone who will heed His call: "Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Anyone who is willing to find their rest and purpose in God. Maybe it is you!

You may be just the one God is looking for to change the world. Say "yes" to Him and watch what He can and will do with your life. God wants to dress you in His glory and "take you to the ball."

May God richly bless you,

Victoria Boyson
