The Kingdom of Joy
is Coming to the Church

"The kingdom of God is righteous, peace and JOY!" (Ro. 14:17)

God is beginning to pour out His joy on the Church in an amazing way, and we will experience a new level of Joy in Him! And with the release of His joy we will truly celebrate the Lord like never before. As we do, blind eyes will see, the lame will walk and dead bones will rise and dance -- the spiritual and the natural. We will not only experience physical healings, but as we rejoice in God, we will see our spiritual eyes open to see God in a brand new way! We will truly walk with Him, hand in hand, as we have "fun with Jesus." We will see that which was dead jump for joy!

Instead of just walking in a manner worthy of the calling we have received (Eph. 4:1), we will jump and dance in a manner that is truly worthy of Jesus!

A Truck-load of Joy!
As we begin to cast off our old assumptions of who God is and throw off the deadness of religious traditionalism, we will begin to enjoy, have fun with and celebrate God like never before. Jesus said to be sober, but He did not say to be depressed. And God is now releasing a heavenly truckload of His joy to His people.

Joy in God goes hand in hand with faith in Him (Ro. 15:13). They are siamese twins! If we believe in God, then we will automatically rejoice because who could help but rejoice when we see Him in His beauty. Joy is the evidence of our faith! "The joy of the Lord is our strength" (Ne. 8:10) and that joy will protect us from the fiery darts of the enemy. Don't let the enemy take your joy from you with his weapons of worry and fear; defend your joy and it will become your strength!

He's Worth Celebrating
Hey, it's Christmas time...it's Jesus' birthday! Let's have a birthday party for Him this year that towers over any celebration the world has ever seen. With wild praise and reckless abandonment of "who we are" and throw ourselves into the arms of our wonderful Father. No one else could get us to dance in the true freedom we can dance with in Him, but Him. He is worth jumping for!

Do you love Him? I know you do. So, let's rejoice.

I know we have trials and problems, but they lose their relevance when we celebrate our Jesus. When we put our arm in His arm and walk with Him laughing and sharing joy with each other in true friendship, our troubles seem so distant.

Having fun with Jesus can seem sacrilegious to some. They may become offended by that concept, but it is that offense, the offense of seeing God through old religious mind sets and assumptions of who He is, that needs to be cast off. Not only cast off, but danced on!

We will never walk in the completeness of our relationship with Him as His Bride, until we celebrate our beloved and what He's done for us with reckless abandon and radical praise--until we dance like king David danced. He knew how to celebrate God! Without a care for his personal dignity or position, he danced in radical praise of God's presence coming back to the children of God (2 Sam. 6:14). May we do the same. We need to get our eyes off ourselves and on to Him, because He is worthy!

The Power of Joy!
A dear friend of mine who attended our Speaking Life meetings was so full of the joy of the Lord. She jumped for joy when she praised God (and she praised God a lot), so we started calling her jumping Joni! But awhile back her jumping stopped because her husband died, and no matter how much she tried, she could not get her joy back.

She was heavy with grief. But after about a year with this heaviness on her stealing her joy, she fought back. During a time of ministry, we had her physically shake off the grief that had overtaken her. She fought her way back to joy and was determined to jump again. Well, she started jumping and she has not stopped yet. Praise God for JOY!

What has God Done for Us?
Oh, beloved, what hasn't He done for us? Has He given you breath to breathe, a heart to feel and a spirit that will live with Him for eternity?

I believe this "joy" issue will be what divides the tares from the wheat; the proof that we have His Spirit will be indeed be seen in our JOY. I believe we are only truly righteous if we have Joy! If we celebrate daily what God has done for us, indeed, that is the highest form of righteousness!

It's Jesus-time!
Hey Church, get happy, you are marrying Jesus! He is the Groom of all grooms and the Best Man at every wedding, and He is yours! That is indeed a reason to get happy and throw yourself into radical praise of our Lord and King.

He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, another good reason to celebrate!!!

He won a great victory at calvary. He took the keys of hell away from Satan and made a way for us to live with Him for eternity. Have we ever celebrated that? We need to have a victory party! Think about it. Jesus robbed Satan, beat Him to a pulp and rose up as Champion for our sake...THAT IS SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE!!!

Precious Saints, lets take a holy holiday from worry, stress and grief, and declare this "Jesus-time!" It's His party, and oh, what a reason He is to rejoice. He loves us so much!

Let the Earth Proclaim Him
From shore to shore may we praise Him and proclaim loudly what our God has done. May we celebrate the gift of Jesus the Christ, our Victor and Champion! Let everything that has breath PRAISE GOD! Let us come to Him with praise and joy! (Ps. 150:6 & Ps. 95:2).

"The kingdom of God is righteous, peace and JOY!" (Ro. 14:17).

Oh Father, let Your Kingdom come, let Your will be done on this earth just as it is in heaven. May we, Your Bride, receive Your kingdom of Joy with open arms and respond with explosions of radical praise. May we rejoice in our Maker and be glad in YOU. Let us praise you with dancing because of Your great delight in us. Let us rejoice in honor of YOU!
In Jesus' mighty name, Amen!

Psalm 100
"Shout for JOY to the Lord, all the earth.

Worship the Lord with GLADNESS; come before Him with JOYFUL songs.

Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with PRAISE; give thanks to Him and PRAISE His name.

For THE LORD IS GOOD and HIS LOVE endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations."

Love and Blessings, Victoria
